The dictionary is the only place where “success” comes before “work.”
成功（success）が努力（work）より先に来るのは辞書だけ。確かに辞書ではSがWより先。
----努力なしには成功はありえない。いい言葉です。
Small letters are sometimes called “lower case” and large letters “upper case”. This is because, in the old days of printing, before computers, the metal blocks for setting type were kept in two different boxes or “cases” - small letters in the bottom or lower case, large letters in the top or upper cas.
小文字は時々下のケースと呼ばれ大文字は上のケースと呼ばれる。理由は、コンピュータより昔、印刷においては活版のための金属製凸版台を2つの異なる箱、ケースに入れていて、小文字は底もしくは下のケース大文字は上のケースに入れていたからです。
----凸版といわれてもわけ分からない人が多いと思います。私も分かりませんが、そういうことなのだそうです。
